Now in houston as most people know is huge as fukk. Ive only lived in houston for about almost 2yrs now and amazon flex helped me get very familiar with the city.
One thing I will say warning all other bruhs who live in houston. If you're going to do this job you're more than likely gonna need a EZ tag for the tollways. I cant count how many times I had to get on westpark toll or the beltway 8 to do several deliveries.
Luckily for me I have disabled vet plates on my car so I ride the tollways for free. But for regular drivers this could be a major turn off. I say this because the amazon flex app doesnt take into consideration alternative routes not requiring tollways.
And believe there were nights where I was delivering packages in cypress and then next thing I know my last delivery is in sugarland.
The app allows you to pick and choose which deliveries you want to do first... but the app does not automatically give you the quickest deliveries to do. you have to do that on your own.
After the second day of doing deliveries I realized who has money in this city . I can only recall delivering to maybe 2 black people in this entire city. Most of my deliveries are well off white, asian, middle eastern people. Ive had to deliver to gated communities from all over the city and the luxury some of the people live in is just breath taking. Im talking pulling up to houses with people driving lambos in the drive way or bentley's.
These MF'S are too lazy to drive to the corner store to get some damn water or toilet paper.
I have rang the doorbell and some of these white people can have you like
One time I made a delivery in cypress and this older white dude answered the door in nothing but a towel with a

look on his face.
I can only imagine what would have happened if I had been a woman delivering
