No your not, your not factoring gas, maintenance, and the money you have to sit on the side for your taxes.

Uber, left, Amazon flex, and those meal delivery services are scams. I feel sorry for people who brought cars thru ubers car buying program thinking they were gonna make decent money.
Key word side hustle. You can use gas, car washes and maintenance toward tax write offs. I don't drive unless there are incentives. 1.4 to 2.2 times the fare if you maintain 50 trips a week. I drive a late model Lexus ES so I get Uber Select rides as well...they are 3 times that of Uber X. I'm :eat:off Uber.

I did my 1099 on my income last year, me and my wife file jointly and we already over 150k combined. Taxes from uber and shipt (her side gig) were not even noticed, cuz our day careers are solid already.

I work from home. Trust me, gas when ubering is paid for from tips. Maintenance is what oil changes? If the car ever has any major issue, im trading it in and repeating the procedure.

As long as it aint your daily whip you running up mileage in. You good.

Gas for a weekend doing uber is 1 fillup.

Even if you did this shyt 40-50 hours a week full time, you would win.

The only people losing is the ones who fail at math, and don't have entrepreneur business sense. The ones who drive around all day chasing surge, dont understand how to manipulate the surge to work for them. Who drive between pickups and not sit and wait. (And now Uber offers chain pickups, so wait time is down)

Wish I could switch my work at home job hours to get more uber in. I really like driving around, listening to music and getting paid.

Only thing I see better is Amazon flex cuz then no people, just packages.

That's wonderful and I'm genuinely happy to hear it's working out for you.

Any update breh? I haven't gotten any email from them
I'm a woman.

But yes, I took the survey and passed and had by on boarding session on Tuesday. Now I am just waiting on my background check to go through.

In Washington/Baltimore they are offering 4 hour blocks for $72. Seems pretty easy. I have delivered phone books before so it should be pretty easy.

I did my first day of Flex today. It was super easy. I received 31 packages and most of them were delivered to the same buildings and I was able to drop them off at the front desk. It only took me 2.5 hours but I was scheduled for 4 hours so I went back to the ware house where they just told me to go home. It was great. I can't wait to do it again. I guess I will be playing midnight madness.

I know its possible but it's totally not in your favor as a driver. Some cat in San Fran said he put in 80 hour work weeks with uber to make the advertised $100K income as a driver.

Theirs been a couple statistics ran that show uber/lyft drivers make $11 to $13 on average. That cool if your car using isn't your main mode of transportation and it's paid off but that's not the case for the over whelming majority of these drivers.

that is not really that great of a figure. that means you're working an average of 16 hour days 5 days a week. all using ur own whip and putting hella mileage on it.

on top of that, you got 100K, but thats the same as one could make working two full time gigs. and with the uber, you're not getting additional benefits like medical/dental/401k paid vacation etc. all those benefits have a monetary value IMO.

he would have been better served working the two full time gigs just off the fack that he'd be getting two paid vacations and two 401k plans.
