With all of the many aspects of raising & supporting another human, why is "child support" ONLY about money? :comeon:

Sad to say I'm thankful to not have kids.

And shout out to the good women out there who care enough about the father to not put him in jail. Not saying the dude isn't irresponsible for not paying, but it shows the woman actually cares about more than just $$$

in some cases child support is about the woman getting revenge/payback on the man, it ain't always about the money

$1000 for my son and another $1000 for my daughter MONTHLY

A few more years and I’ll be done :blessed:
I got a buddy who has 4 kids with 3 BM's.

The two older ones, one just hit 18 so he done. The other is in their early 20's.

But, he finna split up from his current lady with a 4&5 year old so he's most likely bout to get hit for support for another 14 years. At the end of the day, he end up paying child support for like 30+ consecutive years :picard:

Serious question from a young breh, what’s the alternative though? Shouldn’t he have to financially support his children?

That’s ridiculous

Guys have to go out and work twice as hard at 40,50 years old for kids

No alternative,, he has to support his kid

These guys really think fukking raw has no consequences until the stress, pain, anger and have to work OT or several jobs and be their for your kids every day comes into play

If a man is married to or living with his BM and falls off financially (laid off, terminated, reduced hours, etc), he will get sympathy. "Don't worry, we'll just have to make do for now"

If he is not with his BM and he falls off, she will berate him constantly. "I need help here, and you ain't doing shyt about it" :stopitslime:

The situations are exactly the same monetarily though.

The point he's making is that the man was close to the finish line, and now has to run another race. His take-home income won't be freeing up any time soon.

Lol yeah that's why I don't get a lot of the complaining.

If they’re splitting responsibilities down the middle then they should just split the costs evenly

If they’re following the standard where one parent has the child every other weekend (2 or 3 nights out of every 14) and the other parent has them the rest of the time, then obviously the parent who barely has the child should be on child support

I don’t understand people having unprotected sex, hardly ever having their kids, then complaining about child support :dead:
