My mom and my dad worked it out. She had to pay at one point but they ended up throwing it in the bushes and whoever I lived with would pay for my expenses till 18 If you approach it in a negative way, shyt will go down. If you approach it in a positive way, you get a scenario like my parents.

This is how my situation is. My baby mothers and I have always worked it out ourselves. I have custody of my youngest daughter now.( 2 baby mothers though, don't even ask me how )

Just think about what happens if you guys have a parenting dispute or you do something she doesn't like? What are the chances of her taking you to court for child support.. not because she needs the money, but just to be spiteful.

If more men were able to gain custody of their kids I guarantee you it wouldn't be much sorry nikkas walking around today. CS is a device, nothing more...nothing less. I'm actually a legal assistant, I've worked with plenty of attorney's who strictly deal with custody battles and CS. The system is defaulted towards women and Its a huge flaw that is keeping black society back, it does more damage to the child when the parents 80% of the time file for CS out of spite. This is where the child suffers, it brings out the hatred of both parties and damages the child's relationship with the parents. Don't get me wrong there a legitimate reasons for custody and cs but it is more often abused by women whom already see it as a winning battle. My mom had my dad on cs, in-turn I cared nothing for my father, he was only a bank in my eyes...only until I was older that I realized my mom alienated me from my dad and antagonized him so that I would hate him. My dad was a scumbag sometimes but subconsciously it was the result of a battle he could not win. A child needs both parents, a court cannot provide that.

The only way both parties can truly be responsible for half is to raise a kid in a standard 2 parent home.

Basic neccessities should be covered in full by the custodial parent. Food, clothing, shelter. Those are things you will pay for regardless if you have children or not. No decent woman is going to bytch about that.

However things like daycare, healthcare, college savings, extracurricular actives and schooling are expenses that should be shared by both parents. These are all expenses incurred strictly because you a child and again the woman does not get pregnant by herself.

If you hurting cause u have to pay 400-600 a month to support your child then you already lost. I mean sure.....you dont know exactly where your money is going but as long as your kid has a roof over there head,decent clothes on there back and being fed then you should be good. You should already have the forsight to know if you having sex with any woman unprotected whether you married or not that this may be a possibility in the future so you should have your shyt together anyway. The problem is most dudes don't want custody but yet complain about the child support. One of my boys documented every time his BM would ask for money(other than the CS), refused visitations or skype time. It only took her like 3 times for her to fukk up and he got custody. He basically built a case up against her and it only took him like 4 months. If you have a positive attitude and truly have good intentions then you can come out on top.

Let me explain the ugly truth

Once you have a kid with a woman, you are at her mercy.

Keeping a 2 parent household.... do you really think you have complete control over that?

What are you going to do if this woman one day decides that she doesn't want to be with you anymore and take the kids?

Do you really think you're gonna win custody of the kids? And yes, they will make you pay child support while you are in court for this.

And just because a father pays child support doesn't make him a dead beat or irresponsible. I could give this woman money all day long to take care of my kids, she can still go to court and ask for child support. This is what some of you fail to understand, and I know it's because you don't have children.

Courts don't care what you've done. If you don't have receipts, it didn't happen. Then some of you will say "That's cause you picked the wrong women"

Once again, you say this because you don't have kids. Women change once they have kids. This is well known to all of us who have kids, who went from the priority to "oh my baby comes first".

Once that women decides to leave, you are at her mercy. It's that simple... and you will be paying child support. You'll be kissing ass to make it work, and to avoid child support, which sadly is what most dudes do.

Of course, we would all like to have great relationships and raise our kids as a family. But if you and that woman split, you gotta think really hard about being able to handle supporting the kids without getting the courts involved. Will she never flip on you? Can you just take care of your kids without giving her money and will she be okay with it? Are you paying her straight cash? Are you keeping receipts? 9 out of 10 times, when the parents aren't together it never ends well, meaning that you'll probably be on child support... feeling betrayed that you held it down for your kids and still got screwed.

I just feel it's better to avoid all of that upfront. Yall could still have an understanding, but she can't legally hurt you because it's all settled. And as a man who really cares about his kids, you will have an innate desire to take care of your kids regardless.

I pay child support, and I still spend bread on my kid, and I spend way more than she gets for child support... but I don't have to give that money to her. She gets her measly $700 a month. She can't ask for anything else or hold anything over my head.

I'm more stressfree than those dudes walking on eggshells hoping she doesn't put them on papers or the dude unhappy at home, but afraid to leave because she'll put him on child support.

look.. like this past month, I bought my son some clothes (nygga growing fast) DOCUMENTED. I put some food in her refrigerator. Like about 132 dollars in groceries. I say about 270 altogether. She was HAPPY dude. Do you know if I was in the system I'd be automatically be out I'd say 600 a month? thats low balling.
