I never worked that type of call center, but anything where you have to deal with people, expect them to try to shyt on you. Esp when you are dealing with a paying customer.

Did it for 4 years in college. It's cool at first...pretty easy work for okay pay when you're young. But it gets old and repetitive quick and you will eventually hate it and want to quit.

And this.

You will :eat: off of the ratchet single mom hoes that are sure to be working there.

It all depends on if ur doing inbound or outbound calls. You hafta be a people person cuz u dealing with customers and they issues. It's what u make of it tho. Me and all my personalities fit in well and flourished til I fukked up and got fired for insubordination. I started making my own schedule. I was coming in and leaving when I wanted to as long as I was working my 10 hrs a day. They didn't like that.

Yeah first one when I was like 17,18. I was an amazing salesmen, constantly scored number 1 in my division. I went a bit too hard though.........got in shyt for selling a credit card who could barely speak English. Got a warning the first time and the 2nd time I knew i done so I just quit.

2nd one I worked at this place who called people who filled out applications to win a vacation. I would tall them, tell them they won but that they had to attend a time share presentation, we also would sell them the plane ticket.

Walked out of that shyt after a week. Never again.

It takes a certain type of personality to do it. People can be very nasty over the phone and since your calls are monitored it's not like you an respond the way you want to, or sometimes even need to. I did it for 2 months with AT&T collecting, I was the longest lasting new hire when I left and over the course of those 2 months like 4 regular people had quit as well.

But some people thrive in that business. Just depends on the personality. I couldn't deal with broke people who couldn't pay their bills trying to grand stand with me on the phone.
