I've been working out relentlessly the last 11 weeks.went from 215 to 185 pounds in that time.I've had my mind on Thanksgiving from the start. It's the first time I'm going to pig out in 2 1/2 months.

It's extra special to me this year

don't know what type of vegetarian you are (if you consume dairy or not), but for a departure from the standard mashed potato recipe you can do a cauliflower puree w with roasted garlic, heavy cream and butter (or sub out some kinda soy variation).

No I do not consume dairy...

My diet mainly consist of fresh fruit...fresh veggies...legumes..whole grains like quinoa..and nuts..I identify myself as a vegetarian cause I eat fish on occasions...

But I cook differently for my family...I actually saw a cauliflower recipe I was considering...thanks for your idea

What did you inject it with?

I make my own. 1 stick of butter 1/4 cup vinegar. 1/4 cup chicken broth. 2 tablespoons of sugar and whatever herbs and spices you like. I use the traditional sage/thyme/rosemary herb mixture. I've seen people add the salt, pepper, garlic powder etc to the marinade, but I usually season the turkey first so i don't put the seasonings in the marinade.

I usually season it with salt and pepper(make sure you get under the skin), slide some fresh garlic and herbs and lemon wedges under the skin. Inject then fry:eat:

:ohhh: Is this something you bought or made yourself?

I suck at making salmon (cant seem to season it right) so I just grill it or pan sear with out seasoning.... Im a seafood lover so I can eat it w/o seasoning :manny:

mac and cheese, rolls and maybe potato salad. I wanted to do something else but most of my family is limited in their food choices.
