cuz the popular flows, beats & lyrics of today are alot simpler.
the whole "dated" argument was bullchit to begin with but you definitely cant use it in 2015 cuz it just exposes how full of chit people are.

Actually, I was just saying earlier today, Run-DMC is one of the few groups who deserve a biopic that people would go out to see. Their list of accomplishments speak for itself- they kicked down doors for everything that happened afterwards. And they've become one of those artists where people who don't even know much about their music wear their t-shirts because of what they represent. Sure it's hipster-ish, but it says alot about their legacy.

I saw the kings in '93 on the Down With The King tour and Naughty opened for 'em...When they closed out Treach asked the crowd who was ready to see Run DMC 'cause they sure was.. and shyt when u seen everybody in tears when Jam Master Jay was killed that right there let's u know what them 6 letters mean to us
Man, listen..Run can still spit that shyt like we breathe and his blueprint is in everybody from Hov, Kane, 'Kast, WuTang, Ren, Cube, Facemob, Twista, 'Pac, B.I.G., G Rap, UGK, Ball & G u name it so do the math on that one bruh
