My Adidas, King of Rock, Runs House, it's like that, corny???? I could go on those n1kkas was ahead of their time. They changed the game musically and fashion wise. This is a blasphemous thread. It's like saying The Weeknd is better than Marvin Gaye or some sh1t

some of yall don't appreciate the difference between 1984 and 1988. shyt was moving fast back then, and all that stuff from the late 80's was on another level

I can understand some people not liking them. And just because you were the first, doesn't make you the best. But to say they were wack is blasphemy....to say lame is even worst when everything about their style is still emulated today.

One of the tracks to turn someone onto hip-hop history is Run's House "R U N DMC complete". Everything about that track describes what hip-hop is...and the video. "Sucka MCs"

Run DMC were dope as hell. Funny how they're not accessible to today's generation of rap fans when fans of other genres like their shyt more than anything that's hot now. Random people on the street will know Walk This Way and Its Tricky over any rap song from the last few years. Now that's a sign of something that's timeless.
