canary wharf has some good views
some spots at night from canning town you get some lovely views of canary wharf , same with bow and different spots in poplar , if youre from newham or tower hamlets youll know what im on about.

LOL. DC would probably have a dope ass skyline if it wasn't for the limits imposed on the city. It's still a beautiful place but just doesn't have the picture perfect view.

Aint tryna be all correcting ppl and that, but I think its Madison, Wisconsin. I do agree with you on the DC skyline thing tho, its just what happens with cities with renowned architecture from historic periods

Yh, use to see it from Canning Town station but now its all covered up by dem multi coloured buildings on that island/peninsular
i really like distant views tho and you will be surprised how far you can go and still see the London skyline. The photo in my op aint even my own photo, so i might as well post a few of my own
