Yh i do rate architects from before the modern era (before the 1950s)

Use to always design some epic exteriors on buildings

. Unless I stand still like a statue, i could never capture something like that. Do you use a tripod?

And rooftoppers, as in the ones that break in to buildings and climb to the top? Dem man around the world who do that are brave as hell and yh they get some really good shots.

Thanks, much appreciated. Yea, I use a tripod for the night shots, same for the other ones I posted in here. Yea, some rooftoppers break in, some know someone or ask and up to the roof they go. I haven't gotten into that yet, would definitely like to get some similar shots.

Ayt, thats decent man. Lol that makes sense. A few years ago i went up to the roof of a building and took photos after asking the only staff member there if i could, despite him not being allowed to do it and reminding me not to tell nobody that they allowed me up there :mjlol:

Some of them photos look decent enough for you to sell to companies to put up on their office walls, thats me assuming that you're a freelance photographer. Am sure managers of the buildings you're photographing would appreciate some of your work too. This way you could atleast start to make connections with those that could give you access to the roofs of towers

Do you usually sell your work?

I'm from Trinidad so it's small compared to most big countries but it can still be beautiful

Nah thats fine man, dont matter how big or small the skyline is, just as long as the architecture is present and gives off a visual statement of the city.

The skyline at night is beautiful

at that performing arts building. Am struggling to find out who the architect of the building is tho.

Either way, good to see some Caribbean skylines included in the thread

Lol high school buildings are still buildings. Click the 'image' icon between the smiley and video icons and paste the url of the image in there. if the pictures are your own then you probs have to upload it to a image hosting site like imgur first.

it was built by a state owned development corporation so I'm not sure who the architect is. There's also one in the south part of the county in the shape of a music note.

I think Atlanta has the best Night time skyline of any city in the country. That's without even having an Art Deco building in the mix

Yea, I freelance when available, mostly product, portraits, and events. The city shots I have sold to people, not companies. A good idea though..

Oh, thats good then, already making money off them photos.

Yh selling to companies does sound like a good idea, but then again i dont know. In my mind, some companies could act stingy and reserve that for their own hired photographers. But you never know. I got the idea from this British photographer who does aerial photographs from a helicopter for various different high profile clients and his photos even get published into books (link below). Obviously using a helicopter is a whole other thing, getting into this amount of work would require alot of time/dedication and this guy probably had connects that most ppl dont have access to, but the opportunities could be there.
