I like Denver's skyline. The mountain backdrop is really what makes it special. I'll post some pics I've taken later. I like taking pictures of architecture.

aww man. Seeing skylines gives me major nostalgia of when I lived in NYC. Crossing the brooklyn bridge was so beautiful. The skyline here in florida is super flat.

I feel you. Most books also only show pictures of Manhattan, but there this 'NY from the air' book from the 80s that is the only one that shows some views over parts of queens, the bronx, new jersey. I like it for that reason

I know that someone from a certain city probs wouldnt be interested in a photo book about the same city

Also, has anyone ever studied architecture and does anybody know of any black architects in America, besides Wesley Snipes in Jungle Fever, or in Africa & the Caribbean?

When he was starting out Paul Williams learned to draw and write upside down so as to make his primarily white clientele / investors more comfortable by standing on the other side of the table. I guess he may have given up that practice by the time the hotel contract came his way! He also walked on sites with his hands clasped behind his back. He was not sure how many whites would want to shake his hand so this way if they wanted to they would extend their hand first. All that bullshyt on top of just doing a killer job and helping to create an architectural culture.

LA's is one of the best for me because of the mountain backdrop...and depending on the weather and perspective, you see the Pacific

I live in NY and the skyscrapers is one of my favorite aspects of the city, its nice seeing the Hudson Yards buildings go up. I took pics when 1 WTC & 4 WTC was going up.
