I knew he was a great singer, but I didn’t realize how special he really was as a vocalist. Like, I’d never heard that version of Bring Home to Me live (been listening to that album since I saw the doc) that he did in Harlem Square. He was able to sing and put that raspiness in his voice whenever he wanted.
