I dont feel they shoudl have the key and should have a log of every apartment they go into which should be cleared by management.
Very good reason to get into a condo, townhouse or house at the least.
You need to move, most of those problems can be fixed moving elsewhere, some things depends on the people.
Every apt I or my family rented had washer dryer etc. Even with a home, your noise level depends on neighbors. I had more noise at my house than when I rented due to families

im in a condo and its not bad. i like it because its mostly elderly people so its mad quiet. but it can be a disdvantage because its nobody your age around. also i hate the laundry rules. laundry closes at 10 and its hard as hell to get quarters for laundry.
we got a card machine in the main building where you can put money on a laundry card using cash credit or debit. you can only access it during apartment office hours or else its locked off but i keep about $20 on my laundry card most of the time. i've seen other apartments where you have to use quarters though. that would really suck.

where you live at...shyt a one bed room in the north bronx is 700 and up...shyt I was paying 1250 for a 2 bed room

just try to avoid buildings with lots of asians and indians
If you mve into certain neighborhoods even as homeowner you got to adhere to certain rules.
Some apartments have garages and private driveways, reserved parking spots. etc.

was paying 950 for a 2 bedroom in a really nice town while i stacked (this is NJ, pricey) but ended up getting a 4 bedroom house for a fixed 1025 mortgage. should have just made the leap sooner i couldnt stand the neighbors and the maintenance dept was

Haaa that's what up. One of the homies bought a house out there last year. He couldn't take living in an apartment - for the same reasons you listed.
