shyt they be putting them shyts up so fast I’d bet most of them newer buildings definitely got these problems. They’re growing apartment buildings in Charlotte man., everywhere you turn there’s a new building up.

Charlotte and Raleigh are gold mines to these developers looking to come up heavy off “luxury” and city core apartment living .. shyt has been waaaaay outta hand ... hi key really making shyt extra vanilla in both cities ... it’s indicative of a rapidly growing southern Sunbelt city tho .

Apartment living wasn’t too bad. I actually miss it. Having a home in a cookie cutter neighborhood is kind of boring; especially when your neighbors are older. I miss some of the action that would go down at apartments.

I just turned 30 and have a roommate for the first time ever. I just moved from a Mag Mile condo here in downtown Chicago right next to the Trump. Before that I lived in old Playboy building condo on Eerie and Lakeshore. I'm trying to save money to buy another house, plus I needed a flexible lease so I got a roommate at another place thats cheaper. My roommate was my cousin (who is like a brother to me) first, then my girlfriend. We split, she moved out and now an electrical engineer that is the younger brother of my landlord moved in. I have a 4bdrm condo in University Village by UIC. I saved $10k last year and plan to save $15k this year.

I owned my own company, made great money and bought a Loft off State and Polk a few years ago but like some of you may know, I experienced a tragedy and due to that, I was on a "state paid vacation" for 5yrs. After 2 retainer fees from 2 firms and carrying a mortgage with no income for 2yrs and ultimately selling at a loss due to the real estate recession, I had to start over. Me starting over was what I mentioned earlier, me still living downtown Chicago. Obviously I wasnt saving money how I would have liked to because my expenses were high. In order to be able to buy another home within 2-3yrs at my current (underpaid) job, I moved to the South Loop. It was going to be my cousin (whos like a brother) and only family here in the midwest living together but it was too expensive for him to save as much as he wanted every month. I have 2 cars, no debt, no kids and practically no overhead now. If some brawd wanted to speak as if im a bum or lazy/have no drive because Im trying to RE-establish myself at a level that likely far exceeds what she aspires to, then thats not a practical women that I would fukk with anyway. I couldve easily given up after what happened and a fall from grace and all my women friends comment on this all the time. I could afford to live alone but my standard of living would drop to a level im not comfortable with. Since I was once very accomplished, MY standard of living isn't exactly typical so I would be concerned about my progress and do more harm then good to my psyche if I did.

I have a great place in a great location, an awesome landlord who lets me and my girl stay at her lakehouse in Michigan whenever we want, I have more than enough space in my condo. So much so that I have family and friends crash in the guest rooms regularly when they come visit. Im the friend that everyone comes to my house for the games and fights etc. My current roommate (landlord's brother) is hardly ever home. When he is, he's downstairs in the first floor flat that my landlord also owns and lives in when she's in town so its like I have my own place anyway. He a cool dude though and just got an Oculus Rift kit from work so we been fukking with that shyt hard. My girl will probably move back in and if she does we'll still have an extra room left since she sleeps with me anyway and just uses her room as a closet. I'm 30, have a roommate and aside from not having the income I used to, Im still :eat: relatively well in most regards. I'm saving money and still have kept up my standard of living. By the end on next year, I'll be back in a position to mortgage a home with a significant down payment again, not just a bare minimum. This is happening on a fast track because I decided to get a roommate. If a woman cant see or respect that, she not worth anything but a nut anyway. fukk that bytch.

I can't imagine living in an apartment for more than 6 months. I'd rather give that money to my moms for it to have the possibility of being reinvested in the family house instead of getting some landlord rich.

I'd rather save for 6 months or a year and make a sizable down payment on a condo or a cheap house. nikkas are wilin' trying to live that apartment life in places like NY and LA.
im looking at buying condos right now, but heres the thing. i have a 900 dollar apartment. shyt is whatever, it's not that nice, but i have it to myself :yeshrug: no lease, month to month

for every condo i look at, im looking at 600 a month..just for the fukkin property tax and the condo fee :beli: it's not like you arent also pissing away money when you own. so combined with the interest on the loan per month, im wondering if it's even worth sinking that much money into it when i take into account the loss of freedom to pick up and bounce. and i have enough money to just buy something in cash if i moved to the south

so ive been thinking im gonna fall back on buying until this orange clown fukks shyt up by 2020 :ehh:

I moved into a 2 bedroom in May in anticipation of my daughter being in the summer. Everything seemed normal until my wife & I noticed there was a considerable amount of noise directly above us. We’re talking the sound of heavy furniture being dragged as well as bodies hitting the floor. Told the super and low & behold we find out there has been issues with the tenants before us in the past. Super tells us reach out to management because the situation is unique..

What makes it unique? The mothafukkin unit above us is owned by a national company that houses people with disabilities including mental. Yep you guessed it...They actually have an apartment in my building designated for slow nikkax. Over the past five months I’ve sent countless emails to management to the point where they are mad at us as if we did something wrong. According to them everything has to go through lawyers and yada yada. The orderlys who are in the apartment also like to play dumb too like they don’t know what’s going on.

The shyt happens at all hours of the day and night. You can hear it at 2pm just as easily as you would 4am. We finally had to reach out to the coordinator of the program till she started ducking our calls. They finally installed carpet to quel the dragging but you can still hear it to a certain degree

As much as all these mothafukkas are dead wrong and merely passing the buck the only thing everyone will harp on is when the big black guy goes crazy on nikkax. One night it was so bad I didn’t go to work the next day. I called the bytch from the management company for the first time after months of emailing and you could tell the bytch wasn’t trying to talk. She basically attempts to pass me off to the board members of the condo who throughout this process NEVER REACHED OUT TO US AFTER BEING CC’d ON EMAILS. They didn’t even as much as knock on our day to check on us. So I asked the bytch what should we do in the meantime while we wait for your attorneys to get ahold of theirs and for shyt to change?

Honkeys are nuts. That’s not the answer for me. To me that’s an act of war. We all know nikkax in most cases react differently to Honkeys than they do to their own. I have a wife and child to be mindful of. The orderlys that work up there look dirty & you never know how a man will react if you’re directly responsible for taking away their livelihood. On top of that they work in shifts. One may get morning, the other afternoon/evening & another overnight. The noise persist 24/7 but it isn’t like they can fire everybody. Thank God my kid is a heavy sleeper though.

Lease ain’t up till May 2020

Aint nothing wrong with having a couple months of rent saved but it aint shyt to try and brag about. And what do you know if youre only 23 about build quality and comparability when you aint been in enough places to have an opinion on it? Thats my whole point. Why dont you go ahead and search some more post of mine to find out what I was doing at 21 since you so concerned nikka. You gonna have big hurt feelings my guy. The first mistake youre making is wasting your youth trying to compare yourself to others or worse, having delusions of grandeur of what you have now. While thats a good use of post history rebuttal, you lack the ability to comprehend and extrapolate the little info you do have and it aint nothing to to keep on searching to know that you aint gonna win this back and forth. Im sure you know that, which is why you posted that one thinking its somehow damning of me and proving you right or something. shyt is horrible even tho i've lived in some nice borderline luxurious apartments myself.

I never lived in an apartment up until i was 26 when i moved to Atlanta. I've always lived in stand-alone houses. Not even townhomes. Sharing walls with complete strangers :scust:
Thus why when i was buying my house my real estate agent kept pushing me to get a townhome or condo and i was like :hhh:
But now that i see how much it cost to maintain a big back yard... :mjcry: Sometimes i really wonder if i should just...adapt :lupe:
I have a 4 bedroom house. My front and back yard combined have room for 4 additional houses the size of mine. Them fukkas be charging anywhere between $65 to $85 to mow my shyt :sadcam:
