It's a great movie, but the original is a lot better IMO. Apocalypse Now Redux is too long and the extra scenes slow down the pace.

That movie was so bananas, WWII vets got up and walked out after that Normandy scene.

Believe it or not they actually released an even longer cut of apocalypse now not the redux but newer version, I bought it recently and havent given it a spin yet
