Apple would really be on some boss shyt if these things could also be used as TVs/monitors for other devices. Fire up your PS5 with a set of Vision Pro on your head...
The other companies would have to play nice and a company like Sony will NOT do so until the Vision Pro is so successful that they HAVE to kiss the ring. And by “So successful” I mean the adoption rate of the Vision Pro outpaces Sony’s VR headset in sales so badly that they have to discontinue it.
Thats how its been for most competitors of Apple.

It's not really surprising to me. Zuckerburg was pushing into the metaverse when Facebook's rep was shyt. They were dealing with compliance and regulatory issues, then he changes the name, goes all in on VR way too soon, when AR is really the play for more adoption and mainstream.
The same shyt will happen with the metaverse too. Meta pouring all that money into building up a digital world that nobody going to fukk with... then boom, some company with the right rep going to develop or partner with a gaming company and crush buildings. Only a matter of time.
