Are most US cities actually suburban?

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
I'm also don't get the idea that suburban=lower crime/nicer place to live

There are plenty of terrible suburban neighborhoods in New York and plenty of really upscale urban ones, and it was like that even before the hypergentrification of NYC

Facts who would want to raise there kids in Hempstead instead of Park Slope?

Hell naw. Most people don't want to raise a family in apartment buildings or a rowhouse with someone right next to them with no space.
Queens Brooklyn the Bronx and Staten Island all have thousands of single family detached homes.

Not everyone lives in a 6 floor walk up with fire escapes

Houston deserves to be at almost 100% on this list.
I wouldn't even want to live downtown and I also wouldn't want to live here without a car.

You got people saying they live in Houston when they're way out in places like Katy and our metro area covers a huge amount of land.
Phoenix metro is the same way to
idk if it covers as much amount of land

but wickenburg which is far as hell from the main metro land is counted being part of the metro area.

Google Maps

thats how far they are ^^^^

its prolly the same thing as your talking about with those cities(katy) in houston. Altho Wickenburg people I think sometimes don't even consider theemslves being part of PHX because they are so far out.

I had to explain this to a Vietnamese chick from DC on my Facebook.

She said NYC has no houses

:dwillhuh:

I guess the house with the front lawn and backyard I grew up in was a Barbie play house from Toys R Us.
