Are people asking for too much now? I'm sorry but a $15 minimum wage is still too low...

Those jobs are meant for teens, not adults. I dropped facts already how you can go to Community College for free or you can go trade school for free. There's also truck driving school and IT Certifications.

Folks just ain't hungry enough, I got my tired ass out of Walmart as soon as I could. Took me 3 years but I did it:whew:
Breh just speak on what you know. I work in IT. Very few entry level positions are paying you a livable wage even with a degree/certs. And that is the problem. It's not just people working fast food only getting minimum wage. There are a lot of companies taking advantage of employees and paying them as little as possible. Also weren't you against free college?

Take it or leave it.

A McDonalds employee should not be making as much as a surgeon or an airplane pilot. Get your bread up by grinding and making better decisions. fukk outta here.
:camby:

This right here. Excellent point.

That’s not how it works. If the standard of living is raised surgeons would receive an increase in pay as well. But also keep in mind surgeons and doctors are already payed very fairly. Even if a McDonald’s worker was given 30hr it still wouldn’t touch a surgeons 400k plus salary.

Money isn't real money. It's not backed by anything. Increasing the wage will cause inflation.

Oh okay...so a McDonalds employee (or any “low skilled” worker) should get paid as much as teachers, some RNs, and some police officers?
:ohhh:

Are you also saying that significantly raising the bottom wages would also automatically significantly raise everyone else’s wages too? How would that work?

I get where you’re coming from. I think that if a person is working full time, they should be making a livable wage. Neither do I knock ANY hardworking person that’s out making an honest living. But these entitled bad decision makers are taking the shyt too far.
:francis:

What irritates me even more are the entitled Cacs that squandered away their privilege and made bad decisions, then go and blame everyone else for their shortcomings. I have zero sympathy for them.

All these motherfukkers asking for 15,20 dollars a hour for McDonald’s, KFC, etc...but don’t realized how those companies will end up cutting half they staff and cut their hours of operation to stay in budget

That’s Fine.

The best workers will get the Hrs..which should equal to better service, which should equal better profit.

If you want to work at any Fast food spot full time, a HS Diploma should be required, along with Company training.

That rhetoric of inflation will happen due to a minimum wage of $15 is bullshyt.

Any small business that can’t afford to pay it’s employees $15 not an asset to the community. So like shorty said “don’t hire none if you can’t”

Up north them papis have their family running them corner stores, you gotta respect it. Same with the Asians.

Most average workers cant imagine and have no concept how freely money is spent at the higher levels. Corporate high ups spending $5000 at a strip club, $2000 dinner tabs, luxury vehicles with drivers, free after hour theme park parties (ive seen the entire universal citywalk/islands of adventure/regular park rented out and shut down to regular people. Gotta have this pharmaceutical companies badge to get in). Any kind of extravagence you can imagine, all free cause its charged to the business card and its also a tax write off cause you classify it as a business meeting entertaining potential clients.

These rich folks out here slapping each other in the face with money

If u go on vacation and dont visit multiple continents and both hemispheres in the span of said vacation u really aint got it like u think u do.

Broke muthafukkas out here flexin cause they driving a factory model vehicle that they making payments on/paid in full out the gate and paid for any modifications out of pocket.

Car companies out here giving away the latest high end models with whatever mods u want, cause you really got money and power, and u driving they vehicle is a good look for the company. Or u took the people at the very top on one of those strip club expeditions.

Broke people pay taxes, and truly broke folk get refunds. People with money know the loopholes. That charitable donation is a tax write off, that doesnt come out their pocket.

How the fukk does anybody expect the high class of society to live this glamorous lifestyle of rooftop skyscraper pool parties and private islands with free hookers and cocaine if they share the wealth? Ive met people who brag about never having to work a day in their life, recieving seven figure checks monthly cause they was born to the right family. That kind of life cant exist if the workers make a living wage.

Commercialism has brain washed western society to the point all they gotta do is threaten to raise the price of a big mac by a dollar(which happens all the damn time already) and people will fight against a decent pay. fukk they gonna do, cook for themselves? Stop buying overpriced nonsense they dont need? Go 3 year without a phone upgrade? Please :mjlol:

And rich people dont need to say a word. The worker bees who went to school to make 50 bucks an hour will fight this fight for them. Crabs in a bucket

I mean serious, how the bossman gonna fly to work in a helicopter and take private jets anywhere they go if they actually pay people a living wage? Y'all got life fukked up :troll:

TLR is bootstraps central.

People have No smoke against the CEOs that underpay skilled and unskilled employees.

you know these people are brainwashed. Pulling yourself up by your bootstraps is not even possible lmao, it always struck me as satire but is now something people take seriously.

worse still, they’re acknowledging letting companies hold everyone hostage by threatening to just raise prices for everything. This is just like tipping culture; if you have to tip your meal is already more expensive; all they’ve done is shift the burden to the customer directly.

But said that they made bad decisions? Teachers are vastly underpaid so did they make a bad decision? You guys are all missing the point and want to target fast food workers because it easy. There are a lot of professions that are underpaid in this country and that is basically what this discussion is coming down to. So should everyone just become an engineer, doctor or lawyer so that they can be paid a livable wage?

Those adults don't have motivation to move up. Mcdonald's has a lot Corporate positions that pay salary. They also offer to pay for some of your tuition for school. How many folks take advantage of that program?

You are sounding like Trump supporter. A livable wage has nothing to do with ambition.

- Employees didn't take all the financial risks
- Employees didn't have a hand in marketing
- Employees aren't on the phone negotiating contracts
- Employees aren't paying the expenses for every single person who works for the company
- Employees don't take on the legal risks that comes with running a business
- Employees don't have the stress of keep up with compliance

So what

without the employees doing day to day operations they company will go bankrupt

if nobody came to work tomorrow

Burger King and McDonalds would lose so much money worldwide, they would go out of business

You don't run a business

so you don't understand how important having employees are

I didn't say employees should on the company, even though they should get shares like some companies do

and I didn't say employees should make as much as the owners of the company

I SIMPLY SAID THEY SHOULD BE PAY MORE

you monkey ass c00n lmao, look at you caping for corporate america, kill yoruself lmao
