my first job min wage which I got paid was $6.25 
at Jack in The Box about 2004 or so
gas was still $3-4 a gallon and houses were almost as expensive
now apartments on the other hand was definitely less expensive, i still have no clue how they sky rocketed to the price we are at now

higher minmum wage DOES NOT raise the prices its proven not to be the case, also why is it only one way ? did prices go down when rich people got tax cuts? did prices go down when rich people started outsorucing jobs? no.
