Those are just a few.... there's plenty of other dikkriding/ rep fishing techniques to get the general populous to give you a pat on the head and let you fly under the radar, but those were the few that came to mind

i dont like the idea of rep as a disciplinary factor. rep should be considered nothing more than a game on here. you start putting weight behind it and it will only encourage people to abuse it and form more groups to exploit it and use it for personal vendettas.

I guess it shouldn't be a sole measure of quality but someone with heavy red rep who also consistently makes terrible threads or threads with obvious agendas (@bcrusaderw ) should have their thread making privileges suspended.

Daps are whatever but the rep has to have some type of negative effect if you're going into the minus otherwise what's even the point of it?

Daps don't go negative so that in itself has value.

Daps are cool, but the rep system should be tossed in the bushes. Users abuse it too much and let their bit of power go to their head

Some of the posters in the red who are not even troll posters are red because they have a different opinion than some of the more regular users on the site.

The dap/rep system is actually one of the highlights of the site doesn't really need any tweaking...outside of maybe increasing the amount of reps you can give for the day...cus i already maxed out my daily limit after just spending 5 minutes in this thread :crispylineup:
