I am happy to be alive. I embrace getting older because there is no other choice.

However, what I don't like is the negative that comes with getting older. Our society isn't too kind to seniors across the board.

At work people want me to train more. honestly all I wanna do is clock in, do my 8 hours and go home

I do enjoy this part of my life where I feel like I’m knowledgeable about who I am as a person, what I want, what I don’t want, and I have the $ to make things happen… I didn’t have those things in my 20’s

I don’t mind training though. Might be the directionI go when older

People who hate the nonsense that leadership entails usually make good leaders because they want to help people not maintain the status quo.

Hell yeah. I turn 50 this year and I am looking towards it. Its a huge milestone. I am reasonable healthy and life is good. I am closing in on my retirement at 57. Thowing a big party with my close friends and family. That's all the present I need. I love the wisdom that I have now. Plus I found out I am going to be a Grandfather later this year. I am super excited about that.
