A game where they only display the highest of highlights that the relationship gives them. That way it gives their social media fans something to admire while also setting themselves up for a bigger fish to catch.

Anyone with any sense of social awareness can see that most people are not in relationships for love, commitment, and longevity anymore. Only ones still going by the law are the ones who were madly in love before social media took over. But even a lot of them couples get hit by the social media clout vapors.

And it's crazy how these women are pushing on the "embarassment", or fear of being cheated on and having to delete posts, like that shyt actually makes sense. When what you said is just about the only truth, a woman not posting her relationship is a power play.

Funny enough, many men (outside of that 20% that get a lot of bytches) will post their significant others with no issue because they have nothing to lose by showing their partners. In fact, they're more than happy to show the world "yo, this my girl" especially if they really love them.

Women are juggling a lot of men these days (for money, compliments, affection, emotional connection, you name it), they don't wanna fukk that up by shining a light on one man only.

In a world where social (media) currency is more valuable than real currency, identity and optics rule. There is now power in victimhood. You can silence a room, dead any debate, silence any critic by stating "as a queer black disabled woman." The problem with boyfriends is that it robs women - specifically white women - of that power.
