The first line of the article states he doesn't have a definition of what it is. How do we not see this as a problem from a conclusion standpoint? Dropped interceptions and interceptable passes are not the same. The above is clearly a drop.

DVOA and DYAR measure every QB equally. It's not the end all be a bit it's a better snapshot of production.
The guys is a FO contributer.
Either way, you're purposely not articulating the gifs accompanying his findings nor countering his passes over 20 yards with Fitz being near the bottom of the list.

Fitz is all one pre determined read. Gailey system and those receivers are his saving grace while Jets fans like yourself view Fitz

Not to be redundant, but Fahey is the main guy behind FO's QB almanac, beyond just being a contributor.

He broke down every QB that got starts last season to this same extent in it, as well as defined and carefully explained each stat/analytic he used (and references here), the flaws of them and all.

If Fitzpatrick is a victim, I'd hate to think what Brian Hoyer is, given Fahey's conclusion about him.

Hoyer shouldn’t be starting anywhere next season. He’s not physically talented. He’s not technically refined. He doesn’t take care of the ball and he doesn’t make his teammates better. If he didn’t have that magical dust that attaches itself to backup quarterbacks when they play for the Patriots, he probably never would have been the starter in Houston. He probably won't even be in the top half of back-ups going forward.

With a truly good QB, you couldve made a legit Superbowl run. He wasted Ivorys production, dominant performances from his WR duo and a very good defense. He had all the ingredients and still effed it up. Most QBs would kill to have those components simultaneously.

Jets fans that love Fitz go to all ends to defend him. Meanwhile, when you say lets see what Geno can do, they try to dress up your response in the same nonsensical outfit they're dressed in when loving Fitz

Geno Smith has 29 NFL starts. The "Let's see what he can do" ship has sailed.

You hate context when it doesn't subscribe to how you want things to end. :heh:

I'm still laughing at you refusing to address any part of that article

@Trip response:

**argues about Geno for shelter**
**hides from context**
**continues to avoid points made in article**

:heh:

"Literally no player in history has started as bad as Geno and become anything worthwhile!" - trip

*points out fitz horrendous start to his career including having more ints than tds his first 6 seasons and 30+ games*

*trip continues to pound table team is hopeless without fitz*
