Arguing seasons is silly because he didn't play a lot early in his career. The starts are a better thing to look at.
We can use QBR or QB rating too if you like, which also graded him out as a league average starter.
@ an 80 qb rating over his career being averageIt took him 6 seasons to even average more than 80.
He's garbage and I don't know why you insessently cape for a qb who had proven over 11 years that he is garbage
I thought we were talking about last year?
And using total seasons as a metric is just being intentionally ignorant when you know he barely played his first 3 years.

It's pretty apparent that the article shows the fools gold jets fans like you are taken into.
Fitz is a zero progression qb who last season lived off of Gailey scheme, two beasts at WR and facing poor teams.
The passes over 25 yards stat....you won't address it
I am not buying into anything. He's the best player out of the 4 guys. That's it. Until there's a better player, he's probably going to be the starter.
If you dig a little deeper Fitzpatricks season last year was hardly an outlier(yes easy schedule helped) but his overall performance was mostly in line with his career as a starting QB. He's average.

Not interested. All I know is that to build so much hoopla over this? We can get a younger qb to do the same thing. This guy makes zero progressions on the field. It's all about Gaileys clean play design.
There is no hoopla. I agree he's just a placeholder but the staff knows he's the best option.
Where does Brandon Marshall fit into that demographic?
