I'm seeing deep dips on the shyt they were price gouging us on a few months ago (eggs, milk, chicken, certain produce, etc) because people flat out stopped buying or scaled back how much they bought of those items and they were left to rot or be donated.
Meanwhile I'm seeing absurd increases in everything else. Especially the little staples that you used to throw in your cart without even having to really think about it before.
I've also noticed a heavy price increase on things like lunch meat, bread, cheese, chips/snacks and frozen meals. All things that parents typically purchase in abundance in preparation for their kid's upcoming summer break. Weird.
It's looking a lot like the corps realized their mistake in overcharging their customers in meat and dairy this past year but they're addicted to the massive profits so they pivoted to price gouging for everything else.
We're at a point where it's almost no longer cheaper to cook and eat at home tbh. Especially if you're single and with no kids.
Same. I noticed prices went back to normal on a few items when I went shopping last week.

They already got the sub game on lock
