There's nothing wrong with believing in a higher power or not believing. Just treat people right and live your life.

There's just too much on the line to not at least believe in God, let alone worship him and live right according to his teachings. The believing in God part alone is easy enough, it's the living for him part that's hard. I think people just choose not to believe in him cause they know if they do then they will feel some type of way about not backing up there beliefs with action i.e. doing God's work. Atheism is just the easy way out of that.

i would understand pascals wager if there was only one "god" ands religion, but theres a thousand of them

take an atheist, muslim and christian. if theres really a god, then 2 out of 3 have to be wrong about who he is and what his rules are
