Y'all problem is y'all think G-d is all Good.

The bad stuff comes from the same source as the good.

But you still should be grateful for the good.

but it's weird because I'm still optimistic about a higher power.

I've been Agnostic for the past four years. However, I still keep some dietary law and hate pork. Anyway, with the world the way it is it's hard to be a believer. Like, I want to be a believer, but there's the issue of organized religion. When people ask me do I believe in faith I give them a generalized answer. Also, when I see racism and bigotry/homophobia it makes it hard for me to be a believer.

Hell, two years ago I was in the process of converting to Judaism because I aligned with that the most. TBH, I still do, but I still have loads of questions. Not to sound like a debbie downer, but when my people get treated like crap on the daily it makes me become less of a believer. I'm at the point where if there is a g-d he might just have mercy on us if he cares.

I had plans to meet up with a clergyman a year ago to discuss this because I wanted faith (something to hold on to). Not trolling at all. I'm conflicted. Also, I worked this year and have had an ok year.

Worst part is when I start dating a girls ask me if I believe in a higher power.

Thing is all these other religions help their people. If you are a Christian, Muslim, Jew, or whatnot I'm not bashing. This is just my perspective. I respect my religious bros and sisters.

Crazy because I somewhat believe in quantum physics and G-d is the universe. I'm conflicted.

no need to worry ... you're going to hell for using that purple font :francis:

True point with this part.

Let me tell you, my bruva. Ultimately you have to find your own path in life. But don't be so pressed to label yourself.

I grew up in a family of Christians. Heavy. BOTH Grandfathers were deacons. The older I got, I knew I wasn't getting the spiritual fulfillment I needed and I couldn't see myself continuously praying to a Caucasian Jesus. I thought I had found my path in Islam when I went into a mosque. My heart wasn't in that either.

Now, I'm just...me. I believe in a higher power but I don't adhere to any one set ideology. I'm like a mix of several. Some Buddhist, some hindu, some deist. Ultimately, I just try to treat people nice and live on. That's the really the reality.

how would a dominant atheist population handle economic inequality and how would their lack of belief further drive division.

Greed and power is a part of human nature ...

Do you honestly think other forms of atheism aren't going to be developed ?

With new leaders heralding a new age of enlightenment against the status quo ?

You think it's going to be one nation under no God ? :russ:

Humans are still humans ...
