ITP Atl has always been 50/50 and Cobb has always been majority White but the metro overall is slightly Black.

You have White folks moving from OTP to ITP (these aren't transplants) to new developments but Black folks are not losing numbers like in NYC or SF.

Norwoods support came from the Northern part of the city which has always had huge pockets of White folks.

The 7 Black candidates, not demographic shifts, is the real issue. We have no code.
We have no code cause everybody ain't eating. That was the biggest thing I saw in Atlanta. Its cliques and shyt, if you not in the loop, it's a wrap for you

I didn't vote cause Im from Charlotte, and really don't give a fukk about atlanta and especially Georgia as a whole, nor do I vote anymore period:yeshrug:
I don't vote in national elections b/c its all a sham... b.u.t. I vote local elections, where your voice can sort of be heard... I dont live in atlanta anymore, Im in south fulton. when I lived in atlanta, I always voted for the underdog, and not the usual candidates with all the blessings and backing

Kasim focused way too much on Atlanta international reputation and their Black perception than the actual Blacks who have been residents of Atlanta. Blacks lost a lot of business capital during Reeds run. At one time in the 90s, this is what made people like my parents, well to do.

When Reed went to the Bliderberg conference, is when he changed for the worse. Atlanta Black business district has been powerful for over 100 plus years. The old money still is powerful both the new money isn't real anymore. It's all entertainers. Those tend to have a shelf life.

a lot of people don't know he was invited to the Bilderberg conference... I'm glad to see you on your shyt.... :blessed:

truth is atlanta or any major city can elect black mayors forever, b.u.t they still answer to the cacs who hold the real power.

exactly. And im a person who lives in unincorporated Atlanta (dekalb county) and i was able to Deebo my way into voting. The major issue is the field was too crowded. There was like 6 brehs running and they split the vote. The only white candidate was Mary Norwood. She doesn't have much of a chance of winning IMO, but if cats wasn't being so selfish and dropped out when they knew they had no chance (Michael T. Sterling, John Eaves, Kwanza Hall), maybe there would be no run off. I voted for Keshia Bottoms only because i thought she was the best candidate that had a chance of winning. She knows my wife's ppl, and she is a decent person. All of the candidates were flawed. I just dont want that CAC Mary Norwood to win. Not only is she a elitist cracker, she is also a Republican.
:ohhh:

She has articles/ads selling her as a proud non-partisan. :snoop:

Voter turnout tends to be low if it's not a year of a presidential election regardless of race. People generally don't care about midterm and state and local elections.
and thats the fugged up part,,, they vote in national elections, i.e presidential elections, like these presidents are the voice of the people, when theyre just flunkies for big 500 companies and wall st... in local elections you voice will be heard.
these national elections are a sham and fixed... I'll bet anything, they already have the next few flunkies lined up for puppet in chief... giving people the illusion they have a choice and voting in national elections matter.

They have but Atlanta is capped out on jobs for Blacks. Yeah celebs can move here with no issues but most people don't have that type of flexibility. I left due to jobs.

Capped on jobs for blacks? What does that even mean? Stop talking out of your dumb ass. If you're black in Atlanta and can't get a job the problem is you.

Meaning the market is plentiful for whites and other races but not so much for Blacks even with experience. Companies generally only want to hire Blacks when the skills they need is elite and they have limited selection or they want cheap labor.

Saying nikkas need to get their skill set up would matter if they could get the experience in the first place. Atlanta is a city you can move to with great experience but not one without it.
