If we sign Hankins I'll feel a lot better. But as of right now I can't say the roster is better. Meanwhile Minny got better, GB got better, Chi got better.


Last year I almost felt like Quinn was sabotaging Caldwell by not addressing the d-line or run game in the draft/FA. Now here we are in March 2018 with the same problem, althought Blount is a good signing no doubt. But the d-line man......

Lions been bargain shopping all FA.

I wonder if their converting to 3-4 with these signings. Brought in two new Linebackers to start with Davis and they still have Reeves-Maybin to develop and just signed a big NT. And still no pass rushing ends.

The linebacker from the giants is a de/lb. He played de last year.

The other linebacker jones from the bears graded out a lot lower than Tahir Whitehead last season on pro football focus.

Most of these dudes they signing are depth and rotation. They need to get some starters out this draft

Yea we're definitely getting the personnel for a 3-4 but based on Patricia's NE roots, it won't be a 100% 3-4. It'll be a hybrid that shifts between a 3-4 and 4-3 depending on what team/scheme we're facing.

But the lack of pass rushers is scaring me. We gotta hit it out the park in the draft. Lions are meeting with Arden Key from LSU soon. I know Mike Valenti was talking about it today, saying the character issues should be overlooked. Not sure how I feel about that. Especially since so many draft mocks have us taking Harold Landry who will prob be there at 20 too. I'd hate to miss by taking a boom/bust guy who seemingly quit on his college team last year.
