This has been the source of the disconnect between fans and haters of Avatar

Most people don't care about effects and tech THAT much so when Avatar fans and James Cameron talk about the technology and the 3D it's falling on deaf ears because so the fukk what?

99% of the criticisms of Avatar are in regards to it's bland story. They feel no connection to any of the characters. Hell there are Avatar fans that don't even remember the names of the cast

Avatar is the theme park movie Scorcese should've been referencing instead of blaming Marvel but it's Cameron so nikkas are gonna put way too much Stan sauce on it

Bruh folks didn’t see the original multiple times because of the story. They saw it 2 times because it was the most amazing 3d film ever. It single-handedly brought 3d back to the movies and damn near every movie after it had cheap ass tacked on 3d added to try and ride the wave.

I don’t know any of the characters names but I will never forget how the theater reacted to that scene with the blue purple plant things floating all around. Everyone was in awe and trying to grab them. It was amazing.
