Yeah it's been a lot of that lately. Bagfuel's numbers are still low though, so the artists probably go on there out of a favor to Esso. It seems he has a personal relationship with almost every guest on there

They probably go on MEO because it's a big platform now.

I didn't see the whole Bag Fuel interview but the beginning was also kinda weird. They focus on label business stuff but it was still weird to start out on some label shyt. You can tell AZ is just kinda dodging and doesn't have all this business stuff settled.

And then within ten minutes it was still "how come Nas and Mega aren't working with you" lmao. Just blows my mind that nobody sees how disrespectful this is. He dropped an album. Talk about that.

They spent like the middle 25% of the interview trying to convince AZ to becoming a chatty patty :mjlol:

My Expert Opinion brehs: You so mysterious! The fans wanna know the story to why you don't tell your whole story!

AZ: Word, word :ehh:

I think what AZ did was corny.

The questions asked are the things the fans want to know

We wanna know what he felt when Jay and Nas were going through it, how the studio sessions were when they were making the firm, etc etc

If u choose to be on these platforms, you should be able to answer these questions.

At least it's not chatty patty shyt (from what I saw) but it's still another case of a legend getting belittled and sonned on some Robin shyt. Asking him where's Batman lol. You can tell he wanted to change the subject and they just keep digging. I had to turn it off and get back to football lol.

Old rap media shyt is starting to feel like a Star Trek convention. Dudes walking up to 70 year old actors asking them if they're ever going to do a Star Trek thing again. Nevermind that the times/show has moved on, it's just nerds stuck in a nostalgia gutter making some old guy feel uncomfortable asking about things that happened 40 years ago. With rap the artists aren't that old of course, but the same shyt is happening. You can't compete with nostalgia. It's impossible for AZ, Nas, Jay, etc to drop a project that excites older fans the way they were excited in 1996, 1999, 2001, 2004 etc. You grew up. You're no longer at the club every week, riding around doing fun shyt while bumping Money Power Respect. Or In Da Club.

I saw that clip of AZ talking about the Illmatic album/tour, and the video title was something like "Nas offered me $400 to tour/verse" or something like that. If you watch the clip AZ explains Nas initially was like "I got $400 for you" before saying "haha I'm joking breh I got $10,000 for you fam." Which is a dope and funny story, yet the punchline is ruined by some thirsty, desperate ass dude trying to get clicks. And you know someone like Nas or his people will see that and feel some type of way unless they actually watch the video. All Math does is roster resentment amongst people and seek gossip. It ruins what was once a great show.
I saw that clip and was gonna click too. That's foul
