I think some of the big pop girls might have been a better choice, they don’t have the reach like old school pop artists did but people at least know their name and they sing in English. Let’s be honest about America, and especially football fans/viewers.
Dua Lipa, Ariana grande, Billie eillish, Olivia Rodrigo, Doja cat, SZA…I mean, they could even do a mashup ode to pop with some old and new acts (pink is still a great performer). On the male side you got Bieber, Harry styles, even fukking post Malone between his rap, pop, and country might service at least the 40/45 and under crowd better than bad bunny
i don’t care about football casually anymore, if it ain’t the niners playing, I’m not pressed to care about the game or halftime, but NGL, bad bunny gonna have black and white viewers hating
I don’t doubt that he will lol. But I’ll give Roc Nation the benefit of the doubt because they haven’t produced a bad show yet. SZA was just with Kendrick last year - it’s too soon. Doja Cat has too much baggage and you can’t rely on her discipline and I don’t think she’s big enough tbh. I could see Post Malone. A pop mash up would be interesting but that’s too many egos. A Britney and Christina show maybe.
