Everything has fallen into place. The first two potential matchup we can have this postseason are teams we have dominate and are 7-1 against. The teams we have struggle against will take care of each other before we see them in the WCF. Beverly Hills Cop is back to punk the world and Dwight lookin like he back in Orlando and actually has a real superstar 2-guard he respects and doesn't mind deferring to. This is just like the year he went to the finals where his squad was so under the radar that nobody expected them to get to the finals. Ppl still think we a horrible defensive team. Nope check the Advance stats. Were middle of the pack overall but into halfcourt setting we're above average. And of the player a in the playoffs nobody ranks above harden in clutch situations this last year. He's shooting 44 % overall and 46(comparably durant is shooting 38% and 39 3fg%, King James 48% and 31 3fg%, monte Ellis 45% and 55% from the 3:leon:) from the 3 in the last 5 minutes of the game that's 5 point differential and the lower that pt differential gets the better his stats get.

Anything less than a finals appearance is a disappointment.

Are they going to learn how to play defense overnight? No.
:mjlol:You falling for that urban legend too huh? Go check the stats. The reason the lakers lost last season was because when teams went hack a Howard the lakers had no answer on the other end defensively. When teams go back a Howard this season, it allows Houston's to go into their half court set defense and we shu em down. The rockets didn't lose nearly as many game this season as the lakers did with the hack a howard.

Rockets turn it over a lot

If Harden doesn't get 10-15 FTs, HOU is in trouble. The 3 ball and up tempo game will be taken away by a better defensive team

lol...it's an urban legend that they rank 23rd in the NBA in points allowed? :heh:

James Harden is arguably the worst defender in the league.

They win by running and gunning and outscoring teams. When the games slow down in the playoffs and teams are able to control the pace and make them play half court, you'll see them have problems. They won't beat the Spurs in the 2nd. They might not even beat the Blazers, but I pick them to win that series.

Look at the defensive rating and point per possesion to get a better understanding of our defensive, you cant look at ppg when evaluating our defense becasue of the tempo and pace we play.

The point is they won't be able to maintain that pace consistently in the playoffs. Everyone knows the game slows down.

Then their points allowed will drop as well....that's how pace works.

SMH @ using still using "points allowed" in 2014
