I tried to tell cats there's never been anybody who's more efficient and accountable for total points like Curry. You give him Wilt's and Jordan's minutes at his rate and he beats how many points their responsible for if you combine assists and points for all of them.

At the end of the day, 3's are worth more than 2's. You practically have the Spurs' whole offensive philosophy (get easy 3 pointers) in one guy. Dude is like a living offensive philosophy. Only time dude doesn't have an easy 3 is when he's shooting inside the arc.

I agree with except for maybe Wilt. Stats can lie at times because Wilt averaging 50 a game from shots in the point vs someone getting from shooting 3 is different imo. I think at some point you legs go as a shooter which effects your shot. So him playing all those minutes over a season don't guarantee he picks up those numbers.

I see what you're saying too, fatigue is always a factor. However, it's not just his scoring though, I'm talking overall influence on points. I'm counting assists leading to 2 points as well. Given Wilt's minutes he'd be averaging somewhere around 9.3 assists per game accounting for another 18 to his average in the same amount of time, and even more points if you count that plenty of those assists are going to get 3 points. That's one of the reasons why I have this guy rated so high all-time, dude is just accountable for so many points since he runs the offense on top of being the greatest shooter.

Yea I get the assists and I think he could do it some nights just keeping up all those minutes with the style of play of curry for a whole season is tough. If you counted how many feet he would run during the season it would probably 33% to 50% more then wilt would you think? Running around picks, ball handing, guarding wing players, ect

Better question is, "can the Warriors be stopped?" :manny:

No they can't be stopped but, you can force them into situations they least like to be in. To me that would be iso ball. They do this the least of any team in the league and that's why they are the best offensivley. They will still get their but if you can force them into a higher percentage of iso's and eliminate the high screen n roll/pop with curry and draymon,(which the real key to their offence) you have a chance.

I would also consider the off ball screens for curry by draymond the same concept.

TYRONE GA!
:manny: But for real the only thing that can stop him is if he starts having ankle issues again.

which is why he strengthened his core to take the pressure off of his ankles. That nikka deadlifting 5 Angelina Jolies and shyt man. What in the living fukk man?!!

All you can do is just enjoy the show while it lasts. :francis:

I think we'll have to agree to disagree here. I just think Steph's conditioning is ridiculous and can overcome that obstacle. Dude ran the most miles on an NBA court last season in both the regular season and play-offs, but it looked like everyone else was gassed compared to him.

Sounds nice and all but since the all-star game, Clay seems to have turned on his turbo button; not to mention that their bench will smoke your bench. They're a legit problem breh. We are well passed the halfway mark of the season and no team has figured them out. The only team that seems able to beat them is the Golden State Warriors:francis:

Has anyone investigated whether the PG threw that contest to instill confidence in his SG? It seems like something the Warriors would do. Scumbag organization :scust:

Even if you keep sending double teams at Curry, the Warriors are too deep for that to be an issue.
I think teams should start doubling Draymond. He's the playmaker.. But I don't think that will work consistently

I think Curry's lack of size work to his advantage. Fact of the matter is he's taking baskets which shouldn't even be going in and they are going on. Also Curry is not only agile but well conditioned. He can play 40 minutes a game if need be. Here's what you are going to have to do to at least slow him down and that is to double team him at the perimeter. He also has trouble (relative) against bigger, rangier guards. Even a PG that could work inside is a bad matchup because Curry would have match up with that and that's not his specialty. He's had trouble against Mike Conley, Avery Bradley, Russel Westbook, and if Kyrie was healthy last year in the playoffs, the Cavs easily win in 5-6 games.
