great landing spot for Justin, tough return but I think it’s obvious they didn’t get the offers they expected. I thought a 4th was the lowest end return a month ago

time for Caleb :wow:

The Bears dropped the ball. Should’ve traded the first pick and got more offensive weapons to surround Fields with. If it didn’t work out with the new offensive pieces then trade Fields. But, at least they would have more assets to bring in a new QB with.

It's funny how media controls narratives

At first they said Pickett was traded because of his response to the Russ trade and that they didn't want Russ to feel like he was competing for the starting job so he could be confident. Now this.

Now both QBs are going to be watched like hawks from day 1 in training camp and breathe on each other's necks, with still very little talent to work with offensively.
Pickett was traded because he refused to dress when Rudolph was starting, cancelled off-season workouts with the WR room, and I’m sure other shyt we don’t know about.

Not wanting Russ to feel like he competing sounds like Pickett’s PR team. Tomlin and Steelers ain’t doing that.

I can't see Fields being content going there to backup to a past his prime Russ.
He doesn't really have a say. He still has a much better shot at starting for steelers than bears since bears taking Caleb.

And if it doesn't workout... he will be a free agent next year if his option gets declined
