He's lead the Bears to back to back #1 picks :mjlol:
the bears started out the season trying to throw fields under the bus - then once the FO/Coaches realized they'd have been assed out right along with him, they decided to *maybe* coach to the guy's strengths finally lol

why couldn’t the bears just build this offense around fields to begin with :dahell:

But has given the keys to Caleb

These weapons are crazy for a rookie.
Fields is not good!! I repeat, Fields is not good!! You dont pass up a potential elite QB to stay with a QB that has proven to be substandard..

Also doesn't this prove the Bears should have fired their coach? They finished the season strong but they're going into this season as the third best team in the NFC North. I think Caleb will be great eventually but a rookie QB isn't stopping the Lions or Packers. Which means that they'll end up firing Eberlus in January 2025 and Caleb will go into year two having to learn a new offense again.

That’s what I’m saying. Caleb better be out of this world and I’m expecting playoffs or at least a 10 win season. Almost won ten games last year if not for some shytty coaching. They finished 7-10, so if Caleb (or whomever) comes in and they win 7 or less games, it’s a bust because this current roster is WAY more talented than last season (which was the most help Fields had his entire tenure as a Bear).

Bears are the worst franchise in sports.

:heh: Imagine thinking this due to Justin fields :dead:

In the past calendar year the Bears have added DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, Deandre Swift, Montez sweat, Darnell Wright, Tremaine Edmunds, TJ Edwards, and developed Jaylon Johnson to an all pro. What’s next you want them to do go down on the field and hand the WRs the ball?

Enough with the Justin fields talk. The league is speaking loud and clear, fans just don’t want to listen: It is not the ‘help’, its him. He ain’t it. Enough

If Fields isn't starting by the end of the season, which is HIGHLY unlikely, then he's getting cut. No way they pickup that fifth year and pay a backup 25M.
Teams used to be able to pick it up and then just cut the player if it doesn't work out because it wasn't guaranteed, now it's fully guaranteed and they have to make their decision before May 2nd. They're not picking it up so he's gonna be a free agent next offseason no matter how the season goes.

Doing right by Fields is trading him within the division (Vikings).
Or Broncos or Raiders
Nah the Steelers always good or decent no matter the QB. Mike Tomlin been coaching since 2007 and never had a losing record. I say that as an Bengals fan, you can never take the Steelers lightly. All they needed is an QB. They been playing a washed Big Ben, Mitch Trubisky, Mason Rudolph and Kenny Pickett. They QB room got light years better with Russell Wilson and Justin Fields.
