Even if he was willing to shoot more it'd be a non-factor. Tobi or Joel are getting the last shot. It's worked so far, Sixers are one of the best 4th quarter teams in the league.

Who gets the last shot is obviously important, but so is being able to shut down the other team's best perimeter scorer.
You think that’s gonna work in the playoffs when teams are doubling Embid and sagging off Simmons?

Oh ok so Ingram can create on offense but he jsut doesn’t. Because everytime I watch the Pels that man is a black hole on offense. That ball goes in to him but it don’t never come back out from him :francis:

Pels would be better off trading Ingram for Jerami Grant and parts and just give the keys to Zion.

The fact that you can realistically straight up trade a guy like Simmons for a MVP and probable top 5 player in Harden actually shows his worth around the league :mjlol:

That’s cuz clowns still believe in his hype and he’s young Philly could’ve finessed Houston but they just keep finessing themselves. Plus Philly prolly would’ve had to add some other pieces

Ummm overrated by who?

With that said this also isn't as hot a take as some of you are making it out to be. Ben Simmons is talked about like he is an elite player and he simply isn't though he's still very good in a lot of areas.
Ben Simmons being overhyped AGAIN??

Call it what you want to call it ... but the fact that he can be the centerpiece for a trade of a guy of that caliber speaks to his value ... if Houston wasn't holding some childish grudge against Morey that deal would have been done and i doubt it would have included much more than Ben and a few minor fillers ... if Ben was put on the trade block today his return value would be immense ... no question about it

Yep this. Imagine if Bron/butler/Kawhi/PG/ Durant just focused on Defense and didn’t have to worry about offsense... he was a #1 pick and he’s severely overated at this point he’s a role player not a franchise player
#1 pick as a overrated role player

Butler's been washed this season, and Ingram doesn't really do much besides score.

You a fukking lie. Butler was injured and hit by COVID protocols. Heat have won 9 out of their last 10 games and the Heat have been one of the top teams in the league since he hit back. Goofy ass.

The Heat are 16-8 with Jimmy and 4-10 without him.
