This isn’t anything new, critique has always been a part of the game from magazines to blogs to forums to barbershop talk. The only difference really now is the artists spend more time reading it all cause it’s so accessible to them online but that’s kind of on them. It just is what it is.

Anytime someone has a "we need to get back to..." statement its already a dub becuz sh1t aint ever going back.
It might circle back(revolution) but it always comes back different than its previous rotation.
Rappers aint going back to being "lyrical" - that doesnt mean it went away
Producers ain't going back to boombap - that doesnt mean it went away

The internet has given everyone a voice and now that you can hear everybody you realize everybody has an opinion whether its based on fact or not.
You also realize a lot of people are miserable and envious so anything you do they think they can do better.
Let's not even mention the trolls who are just poking to get a reaction.
Benny just needs to appreciate his blessings, keep making music, expand his experiences and build his fanbase.
For every 1 fan there are 4 critics (2 are secret fans, 1 is a hater and the last is trolling).
Plus I cant stand when artist complain outside of their medium, put those complaints in your artform and make it more palatable otherwise it just looks like bytching.
And nikkas with big gold/diamond chains should never be complaining about sh1t on camera without a beat and some meter to their words.
