Do you guyd realize that the banks went bankrupt... And the Us taxpayer had to bail them out for their reckless behavior? What do they get in return for that? Do you just let them keep gambling and keep bailing them out when they sink the economy?

our government took us to war in 2003 for no reason and we kept all of them around
it's not easy to just restart an entire industry, besides the "bail out" was just a series of loans that have already been paid back with interest

The Financial Crisis of 2008 was a result of consumers buying property with loans they COULDN'T afford. (Subprime mortgages, ARMs, etc)

Banks also can't go around giving people in crippling debt and 450 credit scores loans too

I know the government and banks are big and evil or whatever...but there are also people that are wildly irresponsible and trifling as well
