Thee E-Coli late contender for homotionally destroyed, desparate delusional dikksucking stan of these infinitely inferior to the GOAT Hov ass, lyrically remedial, flow challenged, brick factory dropping, sorry ass excuses for struggle rappers of the year InspectHisdikk with yet another pathetic attempt to downplay the unprecedented run of MVP GOATness by the GOAT our Flow Lord and Lyrical Savior Hova Da Gawd after the GOAT's latest GOATly comeback destroyed the dreams of his bum ass baby daddies

Nas still in the top 5 each year he's nominated :blessed:
I think that's 1 or Nas' strengths personally, 1 of the most consistent MC's, to me he's never dropped a wack album, a couple may have been a drop off and sub par for him but they still had a lot of good or great songs. And mostly his albums range from very good to classic to me.

If Nastradamus never existed I would've voted for him in 99, but Nastradamus's mediocrity takes away from I Am's consistency as they were released in the same year...

Plus Mos Def in 99 was had one of those Neo years, where you just KNEW dude held Hip Hop in the palm of his hand..he had a Nas in 94/X in 98/Kendrick in 2015 year where he was just the PERFECT rapper for a calendar.

On the one hand, it seems strange that Nas would place in 99, but looking at that list, and we only had one request for a write in, Juvenile, Nas deserves to be in the top 5.

99 sorta reminded me on a smaller scale to what 50 had in 05 or maybe even Drake this year. His album did massivley (sold 400k first week) and 2 monster singles on the streets, massive loads of buzz that got him fringe mainstream attention but a lot of mixed feelings over the first album released that year. On one hand it was a massive album but on the other hand it kinda created this divide over him.
Had the album come out in tact as a double like what the Source reviewed (Which had Lost Tape records like Blaze a 50, Poppa was a Playa and got 4.5 mics when that meant something). This was sort of suppose to be his next level album like All Eyez on Me and LAD was meant to be coming off It Was Written's massive commercial success but alas the bootlegging and other fukkery prevented that.
