I can say Raekwon released the best album of 2009 at the very least, and that's the criteria I've gone off first and foremost personally

Realistically he doesn't place in the top 3 at all. And IF he was #4 he's a damn good distant one...

2008 was T.I, Weezy, and Jeezy. The year of the South unquestionably.

Much as I would love to,but I gotta go off the poll on this one.Plies was the best rapper in 2008 to me still

Who else had 2 albums go gold in 2008,and before even truly being commercialized was still competing with and holding records only Lil Wayne and T.I could break

And even though it wasnt wasnt in 2008,Wayne shouted out Plies and said he was his favorite rapper at the Ozone awards,while Wayne was the biggest artist on the planet....plus Plies inspired Wayne to take the phantom back

T.I also was giving props to Plies as one of the artist who he liked the most around that time...and Plies outshined him before so he edges him out during that period.
