Sh!t ain't nothing but part of the multi-million dollar all-fronts marketing offensive orchestrated by Interscope for the rollout of Eminem's new album...that they arbitrarily throw the "Rap City" stamp on it, means as about as close to nothing as you can get...It's a MMLP2 album release special ...Other rappers/acts get that album-week special after 106 too, trot out Tigga to interview them and call it "Up Close and Personal with So and So"...or just have the entire episode of 106 dedicated to their album with 30min run over where they perform live and all that...that Em's is branded as "Rap City" is prolly so Em can pre-record it on a closed set and not some sh!t where he's sitting there for an hour looking awkward in front of a crowd full of black teenagers, and a conscious decision to attach some superficial nostalgic "rap cred" to what is pretty much purely a non-urban pop artist at this point
