Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Em's first BET appearance after he fell off? :patrice:

Eminem is the most popular rapper post-pac in the eyes of whom? certainly not the BET audience.

BET struggling for ratings? since when?

this speaks on how watered-down the rap game has become how? I take it that you don't watch BET, because BET hasn't been a music channel in YEARS. outside of 106th & park and their award shows, theyre not eating off the rap game.

The most popular show on the Network is 106 and Park and they have been shuffling hosts like a pack of cards time after time to stay relevant. BET outside of young kids doesn't really have any core audience. BET definitely eats off the rap game with its awards shows but those are annual events. This temporary revival of Rap City is what they believe to be a shot in the arm for them.

Rap City was Legendary in the 90's. It was way more raw than "Yo! MTV Raps". They should bring the show back cause 106 and Park is beyond horrible and not watchable.

:wtf:

I rarely meet a black person that doesn't watch BET. people in their 70s watch the channel regularly.

the only thing on BET geared directly towards young kids & teens is 106th & park. outside of that, nobody watches BET for music unless its an awards show.

the only shot in the arm theyre getting from this is that white folks viewership and an increased profile amongst white media, sponsors, etc. that's what its all about. that and them doing massuh's bidding of course. lets be real, black folks aren't gonna be tuning in for this, outside of the token black Eminem stans.

I don't know about that, Rap City was a beloved show, and Em gave it some memorable moments.
