They say these are the 3 lifts that matter the most in the gym,as long as your lifts with these 3 exercises are solid you good money.

It is your 1 rep max on the bench, squat and deadlift. And you add all three of those together.

Novice would be 600-700 max
Intermediate would be 800-1000 max
Advanced would be 1100+ max

But honestly when compared to average guys I think 225 across the board is pretty solid as if you go outside and grab the first 10 guys you see,I bet they couldn't bench, dead and squat 225.

So 675 is solid, but up against gym rats you prolly need a little more.

Let's get some numbers. I'll start.

My max Bench is 335
My max Squat is 385
My max Deadlift is 425

So my total is 1145

While only weighing 201 :wow:

If your Bench and Squat is that high I would imagine your deadlift should be much higher...
...no way you DL should be close to your squat.

I have no idea what my 1 rep maxes are though...
...im not trying to snap my shyt up.

Never took deadlifting serious as I was very paranoid doing it because it always made my lower back feel as if I was gonna pull something or slip a disc, just started doing them consistently few months ago, though my back has always been strong due to the many weighted pullups I do.

@154 BW, 5'9

my bench sucks big time balls been stuck since forever, I'm so depressed about it I replaced it with weighted dips, at least I get some progress there:yeshrug:

How tall are you?

And have you ever thought about gaining weight? Your lifts are very good at your bodyweight tho.

DL should def be close to your squat. If it's a lot higher u either have gorilla arms or terrible form. Most competitive PLers I follow squat and dead about the same

I haven't tested my 1RM on any lifts and I don't deadlift anymore but based on my workloads now:

Bench: 280
Squat: 340
Deadlift: 360

980 at a bodyweight of about 200lbs.... decent but not great.

I do want to try my hand at PLing eventually.

I guess that makes sense...Powerlifters tend to be short.

Im just coming off a 9 month cut...
6'1 (long legs & arms) 178 lbs

Current lifts im working with

DL - 390 X 3
Squat - 245 X 8
Bench - have no idea...I dont even fukk w/ the Barbell bench that much because it never felt right. I would imagine I could rep out 175.
