Thats fukked up,Biggie helped produce the beats :pachaha:

LL sounded better on the smooth beats & songs for the ladies. I doubt Biggie would have made them bigger records

Puff probably had 5-10 grand in his pocket that he could’ve gave dude as a deposit. Hell, Big was probably walking around with that on him everyday at that point. I understand dude needing money now.

But I know that had to destroy Big on the inside, being that those were his ideas. Could he have gotten a production credit on that?
Puff was robbing Big. He wasn’t seeing money like that.

If LL could make a classic what would Big have done :merchant:

Im sorry but Big simply has more talent and had almost zero misses..he was a rap genius.
They should have fukked him up.

I played that song for the first as a dj at this cigar lounge. Just a brilliant beat. Good song, but something deep down felt like it should've been great. Like something was missing.

It was BIG.. Next time I'll mix in BIgs lyrics on the instrumental

:mjcry:

Dude had the Goat ear for beats..

Okay. He told him the sample. Then homie did the work and he wasn’t ready to pay for it. Intended on selling it to him but at the end of the day, someone needs to pay for the work. LL wasn’t playing around.

Big shoulda cashed him out. F all that “wait” sht. Cut the check.

True but Biggie buying the tracks would have brought about a whole other set of legal issues from Bad Boy/Arista

I only brought up suing because the conversation between a few on here seem to justify selling the track to Chris Lighty
And yes, this is America. You don’t need a contract to sue somebody if you feel they stole your idea
If you are suing someone it typically has to be tied to a violation of an agreement and some type of loss.
Hard to say they had a real agreement when he came to him with the beats and they didn't want to put a deposit down.

Big could rip any beat, but just because he suggested the sample doesn’t mean he would have had the hook and the back and forth with the lady on the track as well.

It could have been a completely different song/concept once Big got it.

The more I think on it, I’m glad Big didn’t get it. I can barely even listen to LAD now because Puff put a fukking skit with himself on it before every song. Not only that but he doing adlibs on every track too.

That nikka Puff wouldn’t have had that woman on the hook, it would have been him. :scust:
