the funnest part about moments like this in hip hop is watching the process, lol, watching the unfolding of it all...
first everybody is going crazy and whylin and acting like its the greatest thing ever
then after all of that sets in for a while, the automatic hate shows up and you notice a bunch of "smh, that shyt wasn't all that, madd overrated"
then after 2 or 3 days is when you will start to notice a much more balanced, less gassed-up critique of the song/verse/etc...
if you STILL think this shyt is unbelievable and breathtaking after like 3 days then you know this shyt is classic. if not, then maybe nikkas was just gassed. me personally, his delivery is fukking dope, he kinda gave me the Pac feel a bit, but what he's saying, aside from the highlights of the songs that i don't even need to mention, is kind of whatever to me. there's like 10-12 bars of randomness, reminds me of eminem on "Relapse" a bit, he could spit his ass off but the rhymes were random gibberish somewhat and served no real purpose.
Kendrick is dope and he deserves all this praise tho. for the verse too but mainly for him lighting a fire under nikkas to step they pen game up, salute to the young King.
