Yeah, he's been a trash GM for most of his tenure, imo. Look at New England's drafts during his time there and most of them are garbage. He's hit on some picks like anybody else but there's been a lot of duds. Just such a good coach it hasn't mattered as well as having Brady.
Trash GM?. How do you want me to embarrass you here? Do we base this on all-pro selections, games played, years in the league? What do were want to base this on?
Another thing: Tedy Bruschi Willie McGinnest Ted Johnson Lawyer Milloy Ty Law NONE OF THESE GUYS WERE DRAFTED BY BELICHICK. HE INHERITED THEM FROM THE SUPER BOWL TEAM THAT PARCELLS BUILT.
Bro, Belichick isn't that good of a GM. A lot of Belichick's best picks and signings were just players whose value depreciated. Rodney Harrison was ditched by the Chargers for having a shyt ton of penalties and being toxic Darrelle Revis had a down year in Tampa and people wondered if he was washed. Randy Moss had a bad stint in Oakland and had a reputation as a locker room cancer Antonio Brown was a complete cancer and wanted to play with Brady Gronk had a back injury so he dropped Hernandez was known as a psycho so he dropped
I could see why TB wanted out. Absolutely no excuse to not draft a productive wide receiver over the last five years.
not for nothing, that’s his approach, he takes less flashy guys, or guys you would be taking a chance on, he’s also drafted some solid lbs maybe not hof but he’s gotten the most out of them,
Belichick The GM has put together 6 Super Bowl Championships teams together and he Drafted the GOAT QB. End of the story. Now you tell me of another GM that has done that. Every GM has major blunders on their Free Agent/Trade/Draft records. you failed to mention he has won with Defense and Offense. This year’s team had 7 players opt out and their QB for the past 20 years gone.
The issue is that people call him the goat GM when it shows otherwise. shytty drafts + signing depreciated players + having Brady for 20 years = goat GM?
Will do later, but you both just made the same exact mistake when talking about GM's. It's NOT just drafting. It's drafting, signing players, trading, giving a contract that works for the team, knowing when the lets players go, etc. And, please remind me where he's drafting each year? Beginning of the round or the end?
