Will do later, but you both just made the same exact mistake when talking about GM's.

It's NOT just drafting. It's drafting, signing players, trading, giving a contract that works for the team, knowing when the lets players go, etc.

And, please remind me where he's drafting each year? Beginning of the round or the end?
:russ: list his draft picks since he been gm
Every other gm get shytted on based on draft picks.. now it's oh nah it's deeper than that:mjlol:

Mfs had the nerve to act like they ain't need Brady now look.. can't make the playoffs

Belichick The GM has put together 6 Super Bowl Championships teams together and he Drafted the GOAT QB. End of the story. Now you tell me of another GM that has done that. Every GM has major blunders on their Free Agent/Trade/Draft records.

you failed to mention he has won with Defense and Offense. This year’s team had 7 players opt out and their QB for the past 20 years gone.

None of what you said really contradicted what I said, you just reiterated a very generalized context-less statement that I already disputed.

Really? Really?

The fukking Steelers and Ravens are always picking late but they still get good talent.

And again, the whole signing, trading, contract etc. That's still just him getting players whose value has depreciated and are cheap at the time, and low balling players.

Look at what he did with Cam Newton this year. Cheap, depreciated asset.

Remember when they were getting fukking Joey Galloway and Fred Taylor? And Reggie Wayne? All depreciated assets.

The point is that Brady masked all of this.

The issue is that people call him the goat GM when it shows otherwise. shytty drafts + signing depreciated players + having Brady for 20 years = goat GM?

I think sometimes his success tricks him into thinking higher of his system, than he should, but at the end of the day the job is to get the most out of what he has and he does, you all are giving Brady too much credit, and not enough to Bill, he has the hardware, all his coordinators go some where and struggle, you have seen him win without Tom, Nick Saban says he learned how to really be a good hc and evaluate talent because of him. You have seen people get better playing for him too. I will say this his arrogance has led him to where he is now he needs to get some playmakers period and he keeps bs’n

I'll go into more detail tomorrow and link to some breakdowns about this done in the past, but you are just cherry-picking and flat out incorrect about the Steelers and Ravens always picking late all the time and just having batter drafts. What's your point about Galloway, Taylor, and Wayne? Were they given big contracts and massive rolls in the offense? Yes or no? Were they gotten rid out without hurting their cap? Yes or no?

Go ahead and list me the Ravens and Steelers picks that you seem to love, and we'll go from there. And, once again, drafting is one part of being a GM.

Ravens and Steelers have had periods where they fell off and were not competitive.....the Patriots have not, even in 2008 when Brady wasn't playing, although that season doesn't diminish Brady's worth.

And, people fail to realize that the Bucs need to win NOW, as in this season and the next few.

BeliGOAT doesn't have to go "all in" for one season. He's going to continue to build the team to be a Super Bowl caliber team every year. It's a completely different plan than what Brady has in mind with the Bucs.

Bill Belichick is 68 years old. He doesn't have the luxury of waiting to build a contender 3 years from now.

Also, I thought Belichick was so great that he wouldn't have to tank and rebuild. Tom Landry didn't rebuild after Roger Staubach retired - he made a conference championship right after!

That might be an indictment on Bill. Most great coaches have good coaching trees.

Tom Landry didn't, but the Cowboys fell apart after he left which showed his value. The Pats actually got worse with Bills first year until Brady came in 01.

Off the top of my head, Chase Claypool was the 17th pick of the 2nd round this year. Not exactly an early.

The Patriots NEEDED receiver this year, but didn't get one.

And, here is the issue, and it's unreal how many people seem to do this. It's ONE year and not even a full season yet. The team situations and personnel are completely different as well. The Patriots will have plenty of cap space to make impact signing, use their compensatory picks, etc.

You're talking about a playing not even eight weeks into their career on a team with more offensive weapons than the Patriots, and can have less double coverage at this point in his career.

Again, list me these Ravens and Steelers picks. You can go back to whatever year after 2000 you want to start at. List Jamal Lewis if you so please.

It's easier to transform an NFL team from missing the playoffs to a playoff contender compared to other sports. The Patriots could easily have a great offseason and be contenders next year :manny:
