my guess is he's still under contract with ESPN. and after his shameful performance at the NBA draft this year where he's openly rooting for the celtics, they probably wanted to get him off their main NBA telecast.

Honestly the ESPN crew overall is garbage and i dont tune in. TNT way better.

Simmons was HORRIBLE during the draft, especially when he kept talking about Shabazz Napier like he was some sort of superstar and kept crying about how the Heat "cheated" to get him :snoop:

I'm glad he's off NBA Countdown.
