Billionaires are holding 8.5 Trillion dollars. The coli told me these businesses can't afford to pay employees a living wage.

I'm not going to fight with you over how labor intensive it is to work in agriculture other than to say there is a literal off season, there is no off season working as an employee as I have described in this thread.

you addressed none of my other points though, yes farming is hard work, i agree, but the farming you're thinking of in our society is also a product of capitalism.

growing food to feed yourself would not be the same thing we think of as gigantic agricultural operations today, once again, you my friend have capitalist brain rot. it's okay to admit, this country is meant to produce this mindset.
Self sufficiency can be difficult and time consuming but it could be so rewarding and worth while. Real talk most folks have no idea what they are putting in the food we buy. Nothing else we buy is built to last. And that is not by accident.

Im working very hard to escape the plantation. My ultimate goal is to divest from the system as much as humanly possible.

Only way to win is not to play the game. :wow:

They should be dragged out of board rooms by raging mobs. We should have never let this happen, but then again, humans are goats at letting atrocities happen.

Just a matter of time before society wakes up and gets fed up by those in office :manny: It can't continue on like this

Capitalists are dumb as fukk. Completely devoid of logic
Only people who can't survive think that. Name a better system. Capitalism has its flaws but it's the best attempt out there. Y'all quick to talk about how bad capitalism is , but offer no viable solutions.

I bet you some of the dictators/kings blow these numbers out of the water

The GDP of a business is DWARFED by that of a nation. The GDP of Saudi Arabia ALONE is worth around 900 Billion. And that's essentially, for all intents and purposes, controlled by the Saudi royal family.

Because things like tax rates matter. For Example Denmark has a corporate tax rate 26%. The US has a 40% tax rate. Makes a huge difference right there.

What's funny is you get proven wrong constantly and can't one produce anything to back up your bullshyt. Start giving numbers

Corporate tax rate in the USA is 21% dumbass, and the vast majority of big corporations find huge dodges to avoid paying even that. Do you see the irony in your attempt to style on him while you actually embarrass yourself with false claims?

What you posted in your link was the top marginal tax rate for individuals, not the corporate rate, and rich people in the USA dodge that shyt too. Peter Thiel alone has FIVE BILLION DOLLARS in a tax-free account.

I am not sure what fantasy land you are living in but most people had to farm to take care of themselves before capitalism. Which means you work sun up to sun down. At night you make babies for more labor and fix stuff by candle light and go to sleep. Most people were poor. Life was extremely hard.
You really don't know what farm work is like. Sitting in an office is 10000000x easier than agriculture work. Stop peddling insanity.

This is also wrong. Medieval European serfs actually had easier workweeks on average than today's workers. The idea of the shytty grueling life with nothing but work before industrialization is a modern fable.

You know what society existed before agriculture? Hunter/gatherer. Which was even harder lol

Um, no. Studies of the still-existing hunter gatherer communities in remote parts of the world show that they work 10 hours less per week than neighboring farmer communities.

What you're repeating is just pro-capitalist, pro-modernist mythology meant to support an indefensible system. It's not based on reality.

I don't feel a need to go back to a pre-industrial lifestyle. But no one is really arguing for that anyway. The only reason to bring up "But working life used to be so much harder!" mythology is because rich capitalists want to justify treating workers like shyt today. With modern tech and automation, but removing the ridiculous ultra-profit, constant-growth incentives of capitalism, we could easily move back down to a 15-20 hour workweek for the average worker. Anyone who wanted to do more than that could do so, especially in real PRODUCTIVE work rather than mere profiteering, but practically they shouldn't need to in order to meet their basic needs.

Capitalism is literally destroying the world, both socially and environmentally, and gives no option to stop it. The world will be exploited until nothing is left. There are no pullbacks in the system.

You want me to name a better system? Libertarian socialism. The problem is that every time someone tries to go in this direction, capitalists use their military and power to destroy it. The rich capitalists in charge see the existence of an independent alternative system anywhere on Earth as a threat to their continued wealth and power.

I ain't ever heard of that. But you really think a marxist/anarchist system is better :mjlol:
